“FEE-FI-FO-FIM! I SMELL THE BLOOD OF L’IL JIM! BE HE ALIVE OR BE HE DEAD – I’LL GRIND HIS BONES TO EARN MY BREAD!!!”

Those of the Southside be warned: There’s a giant stalking this land!
This autumn, in celebration of urban food growing, 85A are proud to present – as part of NVA’s Glasgow Harvest event: ‘Fesco the Giant’!
A re-worked tale of Jack and the Beanstalk, this socially conscious version will be told using the classic storytelling device of a Punch & Judy style puppet show featuring our hero: L’il Jim, his naïve Mum, the Green Gardeners from the magical land of ‘Welkin’, and none other than…[THUD! THUD! THUD!] the colossal, corporate Fesco himself who’ll be stomping all across Toryglen!
But, just in such a frightening scenario, there will be on hand (for those undaunted revelers) a full salvo of seed bombs replete with catapults for ridding the festival of such monstrous brutes!
In conjunction with Urban Roots, 85A are giddy with the thought of performing this special puppet show for the unsuspecting public…!
BOOM! BOOM! BOOOMMM!!
